Hi! Todays post is about the novel read aloud my class did called ”The wild robot”. The writing task we were given for today is also our final writing task. The question is ”How did Roz’s arrival change the community?” In my opinion their was much that changed when she arrived. Here are some examples.

1- Their were more friendships between them all like brightbills and chit chats friendship. They were more talkative and the animals were way happier with all the friendships happening.

2- The animals were helping making shelters like the hut they made for roz and brightbill to live in. The beavers were helping more then they did before roz came.

3-They started having fires in the winter and night  to warm up rather then freezing to death or getting hyperthermia.

4- They were cooperating much like how i said they were making huts and shelters for others, not eating each other like the fox wanted to eat the egg with brightbill in it at the start.

5-Roz was able to help the problem when rockmouth was attacking the geese in the pond by moving grumpy rockmouth to a differant spot where their was water for the giant fish.

What doyou have in your pockets? Make up funny reasons for those things to be there.

I usually have many things in my pockets. I used to have hundreds of things in one particular sweater. I had plastic bags to candy bars, just in case I needed a snack and the plastic bag to carry things. I had garbage because I was too lazy to throw it out. I love chocolate, so I had some extra chocolate to eat at anytime. I would also have pencils, markers, pens.(etc) I used these to colour when I was bored. Another very big thing I had in my pockets were pieces of money that I used to buy things at the schools canteen. I had so many things in my pockets, just ask my friends! Bye!! :]

If i descovered a talking puppy i would… ask lot’s of questions such as ”what’s it like being a puppy?”. We would go out for a long two hour walk . During the walk i would play fetch with the puppy, eat, and let him/her chase some squirrels. When we are done the walk, we would relax in the nice warm sun together while having some yummy treats. Once the day is over, i would say my good byes and go back home to sleep.The End! Thank you for reading my writing prompt! see ya people of the world.

2nd word- sheer found on page #148 Definition: Nothing other than; unmitigated ( used for emphasis) New sentence: reece began to quietly cry out sheer frustration while gladys turnbull snored loudly.

 3rd word- heartrending found on page #148 Definition: Causing great sadness or distress New sentence: My heartrending story will be told this evening at 6 pm tonight.

4th word– impetigo found on page #149 Definition: A contagious bacterial skin infection forming pustules and yellow crusty sores. New sentence: Impetigo is a serious bacterial infection that should be treated immediately!

My role for lit circles this weeks is summarizer.

When Devorah wakes up on May 2nd, she wakes up to it snowing outside. Devorah’s mom has been worrying a lot about Adam and Morris, her brothers who are in war. There was a missing flyer reported on May 14th. One letter arrived from Sarah (her cousin) on May 18th, talking about how many Jews are being taken away to a refugee camp during the war. On June 1st, the entire city of Cologne in Germany was bombed and everyone and everything was destroyed. On June 15th, there was some very exiting news for Devorah’s whole family. Adam is coming home on leave! Devorah had been wanting to fly for the longest time, and since her brother Adam is a flyer he is taking Devorah out on a nice flight. If her mom and dad found out she would freak out and who knows what else. On June 30th Adam had to go back to fighting in the war but the whole family new that Adam and Morris will survive this terrible event.

Hi everybody! Today I will be blogging about my aboriginal side of life. To start off I’m going to talk about my pow wow lessons that I took. The first session was in November and the last session was on February 20th 2020. It was fun but I think they could have had a bit more sessions. Some activities we did was throat singing, pow wow dancing, designing, and some games such as “beka” and “mooshom says”. Another activity I’m doing is Cree language class. We recently started! (so excited) We’ve learned 6 different words like “my name is”, “hello”, “that’s it”, and “young person”. We’ve also learned about the alphabet. The alphabet is very interesting. Our teacher for this class is very nice and funny. He is also easy to understand with his teaching skills. That’s all for today but I’ll be posting again soon. Until then see ya people of the world!

The best book I read this year was… A wolf called wander! I choose this book because it was on a wolfs perspective on how they live in real life. The hardest thing about this year was… starting grade 6 and having 2 main teachers. what I loved about 2019… was that I got a Charlie award that is glass and it came with a certificate.

Something that I want to learn this year is a 3rd language that could either be Spanish or Cree. I want to learn Cree because my back round is Cree and Spanish because it’s like french.( my 2nd language is french) May 2020 be the best year ever in your life!!! I wanted to wish everybody a happy new year!!!!!
